Wheel the world was founded by two life long friends
Alvaro Silberstein and Camilo Navarro .
After a car accident in 2004 , which left Alvaro with a disability (C5 quadriplegia), he and his friend set out to realise their dream ; hiking Torres de Paine route in Patagonia.
Nobody had ever done the route in a wheelchair before, but with a special all-terrain chair and the right information, it could be done.
After completing the journey ,their story went viral inspiring hundreds of people with disabilities ,
Wheel The World was then launched to encourage others to explore the world without limits.
The reason they are No1 is because they know first hand the worries and stress people with disabilities face when thinking of booking a holiday.
